The curatorial collective of the Open Archive of Ukrainian Media Art (Ianina Prudenko, Anton Lapov, and Yulia Kuznietsova, Larion Lozovoy) are engaged in the research and support of Ukrainian media art. Their attention is focused on both the historiographical problems of Ukrainian media archeology and archiving contemporary works of Ukrainian media art, which is investigated on a regional basis and by genre (visual, auditory, and audiovisual ones). Currently the group together with its foreign colleagues is working on creating new digital tools of analysis and presentation of the elaborated archives.

Alfred Maksymenko (b. 1951)
Visual artist, associate professor of the department of monumental painting of Lviv National Academy of Arts. Supervisor of training and creative workshop. Co-founder of Institute of Actual Art in Lviv. Author of a number of theoretical works dedicated to the problem of high artistic school reformation; author of a synthesized educational and creative system the practical visualization of which got a title ACTACAD (actual academism). Works in the sphere of monumental and easel painting, graphics, video art, and photography.

Hanna Kuts (1971-2006) and Victor Dovhalyuk (b. 1967). Ukrainian artists working predominantly with new media. Started collaboration in early 90s while studying in Lviv National Academy of Arts, known as an artistic group “Taran” for several years. Participated and awarded in many international art festivals such as EMAF, Japan Media Arts Festival, Transmediale etc. Participants of the Info Media Bank educational lab in SCCA-Kyiv, studied in the L4 Institut fuer Neue Medien (Berlin), residents of V2_Institute for the Unstable Media (Rotterdam).
